Speech Specialists LLC is a private pay practice and does not accept insurance directly. A superbill can be provided upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement — however, we cannot guarantee coverage or retroactive payment. We recommend contacting your insurer to ask about out-of-network speech-language pathology benefits before scheduling.

We have two locations: a private Speech Studio in Millstone Township, NJ 08510, and a clinic at 231 Crosswicks Rd Suite 14, Bordentown, NJ 08505. We also offer telehealth sessions for both evaluations and ongoing therapy, serving clients throughout New Jersey and Florida.

We work with clients from birth through adulthood. Our pediatric specialties include early language (birth–3), school-age speech and language disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and AAC. For adults, we offer aphasia therapy, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, orofacial myology, and acquired apraxia treatment.

Evaluations are comprehensive and individualized. Depending on your needs, they may include standardized assessments, clinical observation, parent/caregiver interviews, and play-based assessment for young children. You'll receive a written report with findings, a diagnosis (if applicable), and therapy recommendations. Contact us to learn more about specific evaluation types and current pricing.

PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) is a tactile-kinesthetic approach to motor speech therapy that uses physical cues to help individuals produce accurate speech movements. Alex is a PROMPT Certified clinician and uses this approach as part of her comprehensive motor speech treatment for clients with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Dysarthria, and related conditions.

Sessions are typically 45–60 minutes. Frequency is determined collaboratively based on your individualized plan — most clients begin with weekly sessions. The recommended frequency, session length, and duration of therapy are discussed and agreed upon following your evaluation.
