  • Stuttering and Fluency

Stuttering and fluency services focus on supporting individuals who experience disruptions in the natural flow of speech, such as repetitions, prolongations, or blocks. In speech therapy, we provide a supportive, affirming approach that addresses both speech patterns and the emotional aspects of communication. Therapy may include building awareness, learning individualized fluency and communication strategies, increasing confidence, and developing positive communication attitudes. Services are tailored for children, teens, and adults, with the goal of promoting effective, confident communication across everyday situations.

  • Dysarthria

Dysarthria is a motor speech disorder that affects the strength, coordination, and control of the muscles used for speech, often resulting in reduced clarity, altered speech rate, or changes in voice quality. Dysarthria therapy for children and adults focuses on improving speech intelligibility and supporting functional communication in everyday settings.

We utilize the principles of motor learning and evidenced based approaches to target dysarthria.

  • Motor Speech Delay/Disorder

We provide specialized support for children experiencing motor speech delays, helping them build the skills needed for clear and confident communication. Motor speech delays can affect a child’s ability to plan, coordinate, and produce the precise movements required for speech. In many cases, little ones may exhibit signs of a motor speech delay before a more specific diagnosis—such as apraxia of speech—can be accurately determined. We utilize dynamic assessment during evaluation to better understand each child’s speech motor abilities, and we rely on the principles of motor learning and evidence-based approaches to guide accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. Early support during this stage is essential and can make a meaningful difference in long-term outcomes.
